Privacy Policy
Mint Pages respects the privacy of all members. All data required upon signing up for a free membership is kept strictly private unless specific permission from the member is provided otherwise. We reserve the right to send email messages in the form of member newsletters to all members who do not specifically opt-out. Members will receive notification emails at their request detailing the activity of any post they participate in. They may unsubscribe from a specific notification at any time by following the instructions provided on the message or through their user control panel.
Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to use all contact information provided by a member for the purpose of contacting that member. Members are required to have a valid, functional email address registered in their account at all times.
Members should understand that including their email address in postings might potentially result in the address being harvested by spammers or in unwanted email, which Mint Pageswill not take responsibility for. If you make your address viewable, you do so at your own risk. However, since Mint Pages is a private community no bots scan through the forums.
Mint Pages logs every action by the user to track anonymous data about visitors and their use of this site. No personally identifiable information is collected in this manner.
The IP address of each member is logged and is viewable by Administrators. Specific member IP addresses and all specific member information will be provided if requested by law enforcement to aid in any criminal investigation.
Terms of Service
Administrators and Moderators of Mint Pages reserve the right to move, delete, or edit messages posted by individual members, if they deem that the message contains any form of content that is in violation of our terms of service. Repeated violations of the TOS will result in suspension of membership on a temporary or permanent basis, at the sole discretion of the Mint Pages staff. Banned members who return to the forum to continue to cause trouble or make threats will be immediately reported along will all personal data (including IP addresses) to their ISP and any other applicable law enforcement.
The following list includes but is not limited to the types of content and behavior that are not permitted:
- Pornographic images or links to pornography (including in member signatures). Posting nudity is allowed.
- Warez links or warez trading (including but not limited to applications, games, scripts, etc).
- Excessive profanity.
- Any form of racial hate or bigotry.
- Referencing attached images on other sites or forums (stealing bandwidth).
- Spamming/harassing other members through email or forum Personal Messages.
- Blatant advertising in inappropriate forum categories.
- Pretending to be a forum moderator/admin by means of member title, signature, etc.
- Cross-posting (posting the same message in multiple forum categories).
- Any attempt to compromise the security of this site, server, or membership database.
- Not adhering to the warnings of a forum Moderator or Administrator.
- Purposeful misinformation.
- Posting links to harmful sites that give viruses/trojans, including joke sites that mimic harm of any kind.
Members are free to discuss topics of any nature that do not violate the Terms of Service, and to do so in the most appropriate forum category.
Members who are banned from the forum due to misbehavior are NOT permitted to return. Mint Pages will not hesitate to contact the member's ISP, legal authorities, etc with a fully documented case against the problematic member.
